Since I was a kid I’ve been interested in two things, technology and art, specifically music and photography. When I got my first camera, a hand-me-down 35mm Yashica point and shoot from my parents, I couldn’t stop shooting. I could often be found in my room listening to the radio as well. When my family got their first computer I was hooked from that moment on. I’ve been lucky to have some amazing opportunities over the years from working at Mayo Clinic to building an IT department from scratch for a healthcare start-up that grew to over 100 employees and 20 locations. My unique experiences helped me realize over the years how small business and organizations, especially those under 100 employees, have a really hard time getting the support they need for the technology that runs their business. That’s why I started Be Structured, to be an agent for change helping small businesses and organizations that we care about thrive.

From the beginning of my life I have had access to a computer and I’ve always been immersed in technology. I remember hooking up a computer when I was 5 and being scolded for temporarily breaking it after pushing it to its limits I’m sure. Whether it’s tinkering with home theater equipment, computers, networks, or mobile devices I’ve always enjoyed relentlessly working on them to make them function for my purposes. As my career has developed I have always been intrigued with technology and how it can greatly excel an organization’s growth and sustainability. Having worked in both large university size settings and small sized business environments I’ve had the opportunity to work with many different technologies, people, business challenges and needs. At Be Structured, I oversee proactive systems management, large client projects, and manage our reactive support services.

I join the Be Structured team with a varied set of skills acquired over a broad range of industries. Throughout the course of my life, I have always been passionate about technology, but now in these ever-changing technological times, I am excited to help people understand how to use technology and better their quality of life all at the same time. My personal and professional missions are perpetually integrated while being at the service of others, addressing their needs and exploring creative, viable and sustainable solutions. In my free time I greatly enjoy the outdoors, all forms of artistic expression and renegade organic cooking.
